Event Code of Conduct
At lptR, our community revolves around creating a collaborative space that is safe, inclusive, and empowering for all Agents. To sustain this culture, we expect every Agent to adhere to the Code of Conduct outlined within the Policies and Procedures manual. This Policy encompasses a commitment to professional and respectful behavior in all business activities and relationships with other Agents, clients, potential customers, lptR staff, and other individuals who may be associated with the Company.
From time to time, lptR hosts company events that aim to foster collaboration, support, and the development of strong relationships among Agents. In order to ensure that all event attendees experience a welcoming and secure environment at company events, lptR has established the following guidelines and event staff while attending Company-hosted events. These guidelines specifically prohibit certain unacceptable behaviors.
lptR has a strict harassment policy, which includes sexual harassment, and will respond swiftly and appropriately to any complaints or evidence of policy violations. For the scope of this policy, this encompasses verbal or written sexually offensive comments, verbal abuse, threats of or actual physical violence, intimidation, bullying, unwelcome advances, racial or ethnic slurs, and any other conduct that creates a hostile or uncomfortable atmosphere. This Policy prohibits certain verbal and nonverbal behaviors, which may include:
- Harassment: Any form of harassment is strictly prohibited. This encompasses, offensive comments, racial or ethnic slurs, verbal abuse, intimidation, bullying, unwelcome sexual advances, threats of or actual physical violence, and any other conduct that creates a hostile or uncomfortable atmosphere.
- Discrimination: Discrimination against any individual based on characteristics such as race, color, religion, gender, gender identity or expressions, sexual orientation, national origin, age, disability, or any other protected status is will not be tolerated.
- Inappropriate Conduct: Disruptive or inappropriate conduct that hinders the event’s purpose or creates discomfort for others is not permitted.
- Substance Abuse: The use or distribution of illegal drugs is strictly prohibited. While alcoholic drinks may be available at lptR events, the Company expects all attendees to use good judgment and consume alcohol responsibly.
- Illegal Conduct: Engaging in illegal activities, such as theft or vandalism is strictly prohibited. This includes damaging or destroying property of the venue or other attendees, including equipment and supplies. Attendees are expected to adhere to posted rules and guidelines, as well as adherence to instructions provided by venue and event staff.
Agents must conduct themselves in a professional and respectful manner toward other agents, staff, guests, and venue personnel. This includes refraining from aggressive, violent, abusive, or argumentative behavior in any form.
Reporting Procedures
lptR is committed to creating a safe environment and will handle all reports and complaints seriously in a timely and confidential manner. The Company will conduct a full and unbiased investigation that includes interviewing all parties involved and collecting evidence in order to determine the best course of action.
lptR reserves the right to remove any attendee from any corporate-sponsored event and/or from lptR, if their conduct is unbecoming of a professional, or otherwise violates any of lptR’s policies.
By adhering to these principles, we can ensure a safe, respectful, and collaborative environment at Company events, supporting the shared goal of fostering positive relationships and meaningful interactions among all attendees.
