Motivational Monday 06/03/2024

Good morning. My name is Matthew Hodge, executive vice president. I'm joined by Robert Palmer, founder and CEO here at LPT Realty. And if this is your first time joining, welcome. If you are a faithful watcher, we are happy to have you back. We've got a lot of goodies to go through today as Robert was explaining to me just a minute ago. Yeah. This is great. So, like, this morning, Matt's sitting in here in the studio, like, wondering what we're gonna talk about while I'm in the conference room with Matt Levy, like, banging out slides Yeah. At the last minute for everything we're gonna talk about today. Right. Absolutely. We've got a jam packed, show. We're excited. Good morning, everybody. Excited to to be here with you. That's right. How was your weekend? It was good, man. It was good. You know? Worked a little more than I would have liked to, but a lot going on right now and, spent some good time with the fam. Reagan's last day of kindergarten was Friday. She graduated kindergarten last week, which was really exciting, you know, proud dad moment. Yeah. But, yeah, things are great. We had a good weekend hanging out at the house. Awesome. Awesome. Well, today actually is Maya's first day at her job, and she's over at AM Cards. Okay. Yeah. I'm working with Curtis. Yeah. Sweet. So that's gonna be cool. So her little summer job has kicked off. That's my my daughter, Amcards, is, Curtis is a a good friend of ours. So excited to have her do that. But, anyways, let's jump right in for today. I know we've got a lot to go through, through, so we wanna try to keep it to the thirty minutes. So let's, let's dive right in. We're gonna have to dive right in. Dave, are we ready with slides? Alright. So we're gonna start off with some, new hires, and on the corporate front. Yeah. And, one of these is really exciting. This this will be our our biggest hire from outside of the industry. Alright. So we're obviously, we're on this this path to build this massive company, and we've got a lot of real estate talent right now. And we've we've added our first, really talented person from outside of the real estate industry, who's gonna be a big part of our our finance team. And so if we can throw that slide up, I want everybody to help me, welcome Larry Call, who is our vice president of finance, accounting, and IPO readiness. So the the DA teams and the, commission concierge teams on the real estate side will be flowing up to Larry. And obviously, getting all the accounting ready and obviously, IPO readiness is a big part of our future here at LPT. He was a former vice president of finance technology and transformation at Fanatics, very large company headquartered up in Jacksonville. He was a leader of their finance transformation. And if we go to the next slide, I wanna share some headlines about Fanatics just so you guys can understand how big of a hire this actually was. Fanatics moves one step closer to IPO hiring Meta's head of investor relations, sports merchandiser Fanatics, drafts investor relations quarterback for future IPO play. Fanatics valuation hits thirty one billion dollars after seven hundred million dollar investment round. All these are in the last couple years here. So you've got, you know, Larry, who was a a very high ranking finance official at a thirty one billion dollar market cap company who's preparing for their IPO, now coming to help us get ready for for what our future holds. And so, again, big round of applause, and we're excited to have, Larry on the team as we continue to get ready for the next phase in LP T's journey. Awesome. Welcome. Larry Alright next slide Dave. Alright, we're also adding an additional managing broker for the state of Texas. Shay Carter. We've had a lot of growth in Texas and we wanna make sure we keep up with everyone's needs. Shay is also the chair elect of the exec of the executive committee for HAR. He's been licensed since twenty thirteen. He was the managing broker over at eXp until Friday. Absolutely fantastic person, really excited to have him here. Again, Texas is an important growth state for us and we are committed from the corporate level to more resources. We've got some other exciting stuff, you know, planned there, but, today is Shay's first official day. A lot of you in Texas will be hearing from Shay. He's gonna be reaching out to folks, introduce himself, get to know you guys. And, again, we're just always committed to improving our quality of service and agent experience here at every turn and adding an additional amazing managing broker for the state of Texas is the next move in that. So, again, big round of applause and welcome, Shay. Fantastic. Alright. We also have, Christina Christina Griffin. There it is. Joining us, from Keller Williams. So Christina is our VP of referral partnerships and national real estate opportunities. Christina is really focused on pay it close and referral opportunities for agents. She led KWRI's relocation division and a few other of their, referral activities. So Christine is gonna use that wealth of real estate knowledge. She was one of the top REO agents in the country, back in the day after the financial crisis, has a lot of amazing connections across the country when it comes to, building out the referral networks, lead sources, things like City, Agent Pronto, Z buyer, e relocation. And so she's gonna be helping us put more opportunities into our agents' hands. She's also gonna be helping out with our internal home value program. So, again, really excited to have Christina here brings a wealth of knowledge and a wealth of contract, contacts from across the country, to LPT Realty. And so that's our three big hires today. We got a a finance and IPO readiness executive. We've got a new, state broker for Texas, and we've got, an executive here, helping us grow our referrals and potentially relocation, and everything there to help agents. So, big round of applause for that whole group. Fantastic. Alright. For you to come back to us their day. Alright. Yeah, man. Look. It's it's exciting. Right? I mean, we're we're continuing on this journey, and a big part of this is, you know, growing out the the leadership team here at corporate. You know, we've had amazing growth in agents. We've had amazing growth in transaction count. You know, it looks like we are locked now for the one point three billion, in in May, which is fantastic. When you think about we did a billion in March, one point one billion in April, and then one point three billion in May, and now we're gonna see where June lands. But, and look, I'll tell you too, overall, I feel like we we did a really good job in May. That was my commitment to everybody. We were a little behind in March. And while, again, we're never gonna be perfect, I feel like overall agent experience was greatly improved from March to May. And, you know, we continue to hire here. We continue to, you know, work on training and bringing more talent to the table. But, again, this is this is the journey we're all on together. Two year old company smashing records at every turn, helping our agents be more successful at every turn. And, we will continue to, you know, do what we have to do here at the corporate level to continue to staff up and stay ahead of that growth so that you all can have as amazing an experience as possible as we build this company. Yep. I love that, man. It's, you know, so it's it's sound kinda surreal the first time we heard it. Like, hey. Oh my goodness. This this little company is doing all this big volume and, you know, obviously, our amazing agents are winning out there and utilizing the tools to grow their businesses, and that's fantastic. And then to see it continue to grow from there, you know, is is just it's so rewarding. But more importantly, I like to think about how many agents are winning with inside of that. And, you know, there's a lot of agents who are saying, hey. This is the best year I've ever had, and we know that industry wide that's not the large conversation. A lot of people are saying, hey, things are tough right now. We're hanging on till we know till we get that next cycle. And so we know what that's like. So we get that affect some people inside of LPT too but it's also nice to see that there are people who are figuring out ways to win and so we would love for you guys to share what you're doing. Cross pollinate that information because we all wanna win together. And so if you're having that success, we'd love you to share, in the Facebook groups and things that you're doing that you feel could be helping your growth. And if you're not having the success, be open to maybe things that you can do differently, because the market is changing and we've got some additional changes right around the corner for us that, I don't think is getting a lot of airplay right now, but we know we've got some additional kind of things coming around August that can potentially cause some more hurdles. Yep. Yeah. I think it's interesting. You know, we we see this common thing and people like, oh, I didn't think the power pack was gonna work. I didn't think the listing power tools were gonna work. I didn't think print was gonna work. Work. And then I tried it all, and I had a crazy amount of success. It worked. And so if you are in that early camp of saying, I don't think this stuff works. I'm not gonna try it. Reach out to the folks who have crossed that hurdle and are using it and seeing massive success in their business. Because, again, it's you are the most important piece of this formula, but when we can give you the tools to accelerate and, you know, ten x, five x your ability to go show up and, you know, show up like no one else and build your positioning with the consumer and earn their trust because you have all this amazing printed collateral that no one else has. You're showing up like no one else was a big part of our mission, and we see agents winning with it every day. But we constantly hear that, like, I didn't think this stuff was gonna work. I almost didn't try it at all, but now I'm killing it because I'm using the tools. And and so, again, just be open minded. Talk to your fellow LPT agents. The tools absolutely work. Don't let someone in another brokerage who may have ulterior motives or your own self limiting beliefs keep you from putting, the amazing tools to work because they will impact your That's right. Yeah. And so speaking of impacting business, you know, so a couple weeks ago, we, we highlighted our top solo, agents here at LPT Realty. And I said that today, we would be doing top team rankings, so we're gonna get into that. And then also real trends came out, which we absolutely crushed as a brokerage. But before we get into that, I do have a special, award, special ranking that we're gonna do here. So if we can throw that slide up, Dave. We have two amazing individuals who were formerly team leaders and were in the process of transitioning back to solo agents. And so their volume was not counted when we were doing the solo agent rankings because when Desi gathered all the data in twenty twenty three, they were team leaders, and now they've transitioned back to being solo agents. And so I I wanted to give a special shout out to Courtney Swift with five point two million in q one volume Go ahead. And Jared Dunn with four point six million in q one volume. You guys are absolutely crushing it. And and again, you know, it it's it's it's, you know, it's a transition to go from saying, hey. I was running a team. I've made a decision to transition back to being a solo agent. And And and, obviously, they have a lot of personal volume to be able to support that decision, but we wanted to give them a special congratulations there before we move on to, our team ranking. Yeah. So, again, big round of applause for Courtney Swift and Jared Dunn. You guys were amazing team leaders, and now you're coming back into the game as amazing solo agents. And, again, proud that here at LPT, you can you really whatever your individual definition of success is, I talk about that a lot. We're here to help every agent achieve their individual definition of success. And so I applaud them both for you know, they did the team leader thing, made a decision to say, you know what? I really wanna go back and focus on my individual business. And again, that's their individual definition of success. LPT is here to make that transition as as easy as possible. And again, to congratulate you guys on the great volume you're now doing as as solo agents. So That's right. Yeah. And now Courtney has something with, Amanda where they are like it's like a podcast. It's crazy agent. Crazy party. Yeah. It's so funny. I've seen this get some traction. Very funny. Yeah. Crazy realtor. Very entertaining. You should check it out. Yeah. Alright. Let's continue. Alright. So on to the next slide, Dave. We're gonna get into, big numbers getting put out here. So this is first, we're gonna start with the internal LPT team production rankings. Alright? And so and this is interesting because this is only volume closed at LPT. And so Nevada Real Estate Group, Kristin Vaz is the team leader there, did one hundred and one million dollars to be the number one team by volume. The interesting thing is they were only here for four months, you know, so maybe five months. And so, you know, overall, they did and you'll see this when we get to the real trends numbers. Overall, they did more like three hundred million in total volume, but a hundred and one million of it was here at LPT. And so I've tried to kinda explain this to people because we're growing so fast and people are coming into the ecosystem new every day. It's really hard for us to do these types of rankings because people are always coming in. And and you're like, so when we run the data inside of Desi, we see a hundred and one million for Chris for while he was here at LPT, but then Real Trends has his whole year, which we're gonna get into later. And then, obviously, Keegan, Siegfried, Paramount Home Group. Big shout out to those guys. Number one team by units. Two Two hundred and fifty one units, right here in Florida in the Tampa Bay area. Go ahead. Absolutely crushing it. You know, those guys have have doubled in size. I think they've already passed two hundred and fifty one units this year. I think they're on track to to do more like five hundred units this year. So they're absolutely having a banner year. So that that is our our top two teams or sorry, top top team by volume and top team by units. Alright. Moving on, Dave. Now we're gonna get into the the top I think it's top twenty five or top thirty by units, internally here. So, again, Paramount Home Group, two hundred and fifty one units. Number one, that was about eighty six million in volume. Military veteran team, two hundred and thirty units, seventy six million dollars, there. Team Rupp, two hundred and seven units, seventy three million dollars in volume, tied with Yanira team Alright. With two hundred and seven million units as or two hundred seven units as well. I see a question about are we are we, using MLS data or our data. So the interesting thing is, for LPT, this is all data. So for the this section, it is all data, all closings because we can see them all. When we get into real trends, some of the real trends data does not include new builds and things. And so, again, next year, we will have a much clearer picture of everyone, but this is LPT data. This is every single closing. This is not from MLS. This is only the closings that we saw that we processed here internally. Alright. So going on, that's our our top three there with the tie at number three. Nevada Real Estate Group, again, was only here for a couple of months, had one hundred and eighty six closings in the brief couple months they were here to put them at number five. Number six, prosperity group, followed by Tampa Bay Home Team, the Strata Group, the Global Team, the Buckley Group, Jeff Cook Real Estate. This one's interesting. Jeff Cook was only here for one month and did a hundred and twenty seven closings, maybe about a month and a half. Yeah. And so, you know, next year, Jeff will have over a a thousand units on here. We're we're gonna talk about that when we get into the real trend section. But, again, was only here for about six weeks and had a hundred and twenty seven closings. Trinity Home Team with a hundred and twelve, Maximum Tampa Group and Shore to Shore rounding out our top fourteen. Again, congratulations to all you guys. We have some really amazing folks here on the team side. We we highlighted our amazing folks on the solo agent side two weeks ago, and now this week is about our teams. On to the next slide, Dave. And then going from there, number fifteen, Sunshine State Investments team, tied with All American Group, sixteen, Sapphire, Jesus Garcia team at number seventeen. Great job, Jesus. Number eighteen, home team agents, Amanda and her group, Couvertier group, Jillian home team, great job. Carpe Diem Group, Avalon Group, and Haven Realty. So that is the the top, the top twenty two teams here at LP. It's actually, like, twenty five because of the ties or whatever, but that's our our top twenty five teams here. I think we should have probably, like, skipped sixteen. But, again, Matt Levy and I were jumping this guy. This was the top twenty five teams, counted. And, so a lot of the intern a lot of those teams were in Florida because Florida was open the longest. Handful in Nevada, other places. We're gonna get into real trends here in a minute, which has team volume from both their prior brokerages and LPT. That is just LPT volume because, again, that's what we have here. So that was our LPT volume, that you just saw. And now we're gonna get into real trends here in a minute, which is all volume for the teams, at their old brokerage, new brokerage. But in some cases, that is not going to include all of the deals. It's not gonna have new construction. Alright. So next slide, Dave. We're gonna keep rolling through this. So now we're gonna get into the real trends verified section. So, again, this is old brokerage, new brokerage for the year twenty twenty three if they joined LPT late in the year. But some of these numbers are missing new construction. I think this is mainly MLS data. We've already had some people tell us like, hey. The Real Trends number is not, high enough. So, let's get through this. So we had two individuals who were number one in their state by sides. Darren James was ranked by Real Trends to be number one agent in Louisiana with two hundred ninety seven sides and Justine Oroz, in Nevada with, eighty nine sides. So number one agent in Nevada and number one agent in Louisiana with real trades. It's it's fantastic, isn't it? Alright. Congratulations, Justine, and congratulations, Darren. Then I'm a take a quick minute here to give a special shout out to Jeff Cook who did not want to be submitted to Real Trends. He's not a fan of Real Trends. However, Jeff did a a thousand transactions last year. A little over a hundred of those were with us at LPT Realty, but over a thousand transactions total. That would have made him the top team in South Carolina and top twenty team in the nation. However, Jeff did not wanna be submitted to Real Trends. He's not a fan of Real Trends, and so we wanted to give him that that special shout out there. And, Justine, I'm very sorry that Matt Levy spelled your name wrong. I am willing to throw him under the bus. Oh, yeah. Yeah. We we absolutely know your name, and and I do apologize that he I thought he actually copied and pasted it off of the spreadsheet I sent him. But, again, my apologies. We'll get a a correction out there. But, yeah, Justine's name has an e on the end of it. Alright. Well, good afternoon. About that. Apparently, we can't go through one award ceremony without at least one person's name being spelled incorrect. Hey, man. We're human. You know, Matt Hodge is the the audio breaker, and Matt Levy is the name and speller, but we're we're gonna gonna get through this. We love both of you guys. You do an amazing job. Alright. Back to the next slide. Alright. So now we're gonna get into real trend ranking. So Landrow Group, Brandon Landrow out of Wisconsin, he was the highest ranked team in, Real Trends here at LPT Realty. He's the number one team in Wisconsin, number thirty two team in the nation with seven hundred and eighty plus transactions. Congratulations, there to Landrow Group. You guys are amazing. We're very excited to have you here at LPT Realty. Next slide. So our our top three teams in real trends by sides, number one, Landro Real Estate, Landro Group. Then KP Elite Zayback Group, number thirty sixth in the nation by sides. I think they ranked number forty by volume. They actually had a little more volume than Landro, but Landro had more units. Amazing group there out of Arizona. And then Nevada Real Estate Group, ranked one hundred, nationally. So we've got three top one hundred national teams here at LPT Realty as ranked by by Realtrends. Excited to have you guys on to the next slide. And now we get into the rest of that list. So coming in number four at LPT, ranked a hundred and eighteen nationally. And, again, from from, talking, to Bryant, some of his transactions were not counted. It was mainly MLS data, and so apparently a few missing. But Dark Horse Group out of North Carolina followed by Angie Cole, who also had some missing transactions. Again, we will have a much better handle on data next year because you guys will have been with us for the entire twelve months, where this year, it was a lot of real trends trying to piece together LPT data plus your former brokerage's data, and sometimes that gets messy. But, again, two amazing teams there in North Carolina, Dark Horse and, Angie Cole Realty. Dunkin' Duo here in Florida, coming in at number six at LPT, number one forty two in the nation with, three hundred and seventy six sides. Schofield Group out of Nevada, hundred and fifty four in the nation. Yanira team, hundred and fifty six in the nation. Military veteran team, hundred and sixty seven in the nation. So those are mega teams. And then Clarkson Realty Group, who you will see is ranked number sixty four in the nation, number ten at LPT, He was the the Clarkson Realty was the number sixty four large team, while everyone above him is a mega team the way Real Trends does it. So with three hundred and thirteen sides, that made him number ten at at LPT Realty from an overall Real Trends ranking, but he was the number sixty four, large team in the entire country, for Real Trends. Next slide. Alright. Continuing on. Number eleven with LPT Realty, number one ninety four in the nation, Urban Cool Homes, out of Kansas. A great group of folks there. Newer to LPT, really. I really enjoyed getting to know, Steven and his team. Number twelve, Florida Coastal Team, here in Florida up in the Jacksonville area. Again, large team category, so number seventy in the large team category, number twelve overall here at LPT. Paramount Home Group, Keegan and his guys, number thirteen, here at LPT, two two twenty two mega team, in the country. Strata Group, two seventy three. Knight Real Estate Group, again, large team, number one thirty eight. Number fifteen at LPT. Lonnie Bush Real Estate, number sixteen. Two eighty six in the nation out of Virginia, two hundred thirty five closings. Team Rupp, Amanda and JJ doing great stuff over there. Number seventeen at LPT, overall for real tens Real trends three fourteen in the nation. All American Group three seventy three. JG Signature Team at three twenty nine. Prosperity Group at three sixty two. We have so many amazing teams here at LPT Realty. Absolutely love it. One more slide. Let's keep going, Davie. We got a lot of folks who crushed it on real trends this year. I would say we probably showed up, like, no two year old brokerage. And you got any this we weren't even two years old. I mean, this was, like, our first our our first full year in production Right. Twenty twenty four rankings are twenty twenty three full year data. And, you know, we were we were just getting started, you know, and so I think it's pretty amazing. So back to that slide so we can go through our our final here. You know, and so I think it's pretty amazing. So back to that slide so we can go through our our final here. So, Tampa Bay team at number twenty one, team affinity at twenty two, Buckley Group, twenty three, Living in Idaho, number twenty four, Baird Group, number twenty five, Global Team, twenty six, Loyal Texas Properties, twenty seven, Trinity Home team, twenty eight. Maximum Tampa Group, number twenty nine. Sunshine State Investments, number thirty. Emerald Group, thirty one. Hilton Group, thirty two. Locals Group, thirty three, Korea Group, thirty four, NDHK Realty Group, thirty five, Maggie Group, number thirty six, and Dream Team, number thirty seven. That rounds out our thirty seven, medium, large, or mega teams, who made the real trends list. Alright? So that that's overall order of of who ranked where by sides at LPT. But now I wanna break this down one more way. There's so many ways to slice and dice data. So now we're gonna look at how these teams ranked in their individual states. Mhmm. Right? So when we did our solo agents, we did regional. Here, we're doing states. So in the state of Wisconsin, Landrow is the number one mega team in Wisconsin, number one in the entire state for real trends. Knight Real Estate Group, Anthony Knight out of Las Vegas is the number one large team in Nevada by sides. Nevada Real Estate Group is the number two mega team in Nevada by sides. Urban Cool is the number two mega team in the entire state of Kansas by sides. KP leads Zabrak, the number two mega team in Arizona. Do you see a trend here, guys? Number two mega team in Arizona by volume. Clarkson Realty Group, number two large team in the entire state of Iowa and living in Idaho, the number two large team, in the entire state of Idaho. So again, we have all of these teams that are either number one or number two in their state absolutely crushing it. Alright? And I and I think, by chance, every one of those is in Jen McDonald's region. I see her saying she loves it there in the chat, because every one of those teams is in Jen McDonald's region, which is fantastic. Great job, everybody. Alright. On to the next slide. Then we've got the number four team, mega team in Nevada. We've got the number five mega team in North Carolina. The number five large team in Florida, Florida Coastal. We've got the number six mega team in North Carolina, Angie Cole, number nine mega team in Colorado, Baird Group, number thirteen mega team in Florida, Duncan Duo, Number fourteen, mega team in Florida, the Inara team. Number fifteen, mega team in the state of Virginia, Lonnie Bush Real Estate Group. Again, amazing teams that all are the top of their game. Because, again, at some point, you gotta look at this and say, there's bigger different states have different levels of opportunity, you know. So, again, we really wanted to try to slice and dice this data in different ways. We have so many amazing folks, running teams, so many amazing of individual agents. It just really is it's fantastic, man. Like, seeing the the people who've come together to help turn LPT Realty into what it is, just really absolutely makes me proud. I see a question here. What's definition of mega versus large? These are real trends definitions. So, twenty agents and above. It's either twenty or twenty one agents. I don't know if they cut it off at twenty or twenty one. But twenty or twenty one agents and above is mega, and then I think large is, like, ten to twenty, and then maybe medium is, like, five to ten, and then it gets into small. So it's based on agent count is what determines whether you fall into the mega team, the large team. And if you go to Real Trends, you can read all about their methodology. You can read all about their rankings. Did I get all my ranking slides, Dave? Alright. That was all our ranking slides. So again, big round of applause Yeah. To all of our, amazing teams there, crushing it, across real terms. Awesome. Awesome. Yeah. It's exciting, man. You know, it's it's less than two or I guess a little over two years now. But to see the amount of success that people are having on the platform here and bringing their business over here and trusting, you know, us to to help operate their businesses is fantastic. And so it's exciting to see all these big teams coming here, and it's exciting for solo agents who are aspiring to say, hey. Maybe I wanna join a team or maybe I want to be that team leader someday. Yeah. Or I just wanna crush it. Yeah. I just wanna be the biggest solo agent I could be. I mean, yeah, that's the key thing. We have all of those different opportunities to to, again, to achieve your individual definition of success here at LPT Realty. We have people joining teams. We have people who had teams going back to being solo agents. We have people coming together to form teams. It really is amazing, you know, when you because, again, as a brokerage, we're supportive of all this. And is one of the things I talk about a lot. The beauty of our model is where a lot of brokerages, because they give different caps to team members than solo agents, the brokerage isn't as excited or willing to help people make these transitions because they view a solo agent becoming a team member as a loss of revenue. We're the only model where all of our interests are aligned. We want everyone to be able to achieve their definition of success, whether that is as a solo agent, as a team leader, or as a team member because the economics for LPT very much stay the same. And that was an important part to me of how we we built this model. That's right. If I missed anyone on the list, I apologize. Shoot me a message. We'll do a retraction next week. I think we got everybody, but it it never fails whenever we do these types of of lists that as much as we double check and triple check, we're always gonna probably at least spell one person's name wrong. Right. And, and probably miss one one amazing team from the list. So That's right. Again, guys, big big round of applause there. Alright. Well, let's, let's move it on. So, you know, kinda with the theme of that, you're looking at all this real estate accolades and all this volume in production. You know, it really kinda brings me back to what LPT was birthed to do, which was change to the landscape of real estate and really focus on people going further and deeper and, I I guess, finding their own version of success inside of real estate. And so I know that recently you put something out over the weekend kind of talking about your philosophy around that. So you kinda wanna walk us through, you know, kinda what you're thinking and and what that means? Yeah. So, you know, we I'm gonna read some of my phone here while I've got it out. But, you know, we, we got back some of the video from Grand Prix, and there was one particular, you know, moment where I kinda talked about, you know, who who LPT was built for, who, you know, who LPT is trying to serve, and and really the vision. And so that, you know, that video got edited together. We're gonna play that here in just a minute. But, yeah, I wanted to share that. But I also wanted to share it with, you know, a few comments. Like, we we set out to build something different. Right. You know, if you look at, you know, the other cloud brokerage models, you look at the other models that are out there, they're they're all very similar. And, you know, and my belief was that we needed to give everyone access to a fair compensation plan. We needed to pioneer this concept of agent choice where you get to choose the compensation plan that's right for you. So not everyone's forced into a recruiting comp plan where maybe they don't wanna recruit or, again, other agents are are receiving fair dollars on their transactions without having to be on a team to get the lower cap. And so we really pioneered this. And and the interesting thing is, you know, we we talk about this a lot. You know, my dad flew helicopters in Vietnam, and they don't shoot at you until you're over the target. And it feels like a lot of people are shooting at us recently, and I think it's you know, again, we're crossing the ten thousand agent mark, one point three billion in closings, having all these amazing teams show up on real trends, you know, like, we're, you know, we're we're over the target. We're winning. And so it feels like we're getting shot at a lot more. And the interesting thing is, like, what what our competitors view is our biggest weakness, and we're gonna share a QR code so you guys can go read the the full the full post. I'm not gonna read it all here. But it's interesting because what our competitors view is our biggest weakness, which is the fact that we charge agents who don't wanna recruit less, which then inherently means the company makes a little less money on their transactions. The people who recruited them make a little less money on their transactions. But I know, and we're already proving this, with more agents, with more transactions, with more scale, everyone can achieve their definition of success. And I think where a lot of people get get mixed up is, like, this idea of revenue share. It's not a get rich quick scheme. It's not a, hey. You're gonna come in and make a bunch of money overnight. There are people that who have done that, and usually they have something already. Right? They run a big coaching program. They've already built a big downline at another company, and so they're bringing people with them to wherever they go next, or, you know, they owned a brokerage. But for someone who is just like, hey. I sell real estate. I'd like to attract a few agents. I'd like to build that extra stream of income and revenue. It it takes time. Right. This is not like a, hey, you're gonna jump in here and in six months, you know, have this this this massive downline and massive revenue share earnings. And we built this model to be long term sustainable, to give agents long term success. And so, again, while our our competitors view this as a weakness that we charge agents less who just wanna sell real estate, I believe it is our greatest strength. And I believe it is why LPT Realty will achieve levels of success never seen by any brokerage before on this planet, how we will become the largest and most valuable real estate company in the world, and how we will give more agents an opportunity to thrive and succeed in this business. You know, one of the things we have is, like, people do fall out a lot. Like, the real estate industry is tough. People are are falling out early on. Eighty percent of agents fail in the first few years. And one of the interesting things is, you know, you you if you're overpaying on those early deals and you're not reaching cap, then you're just more likely, to fail and fall out. And so, again, it's really important to me that everyone here, you know, has a home, has an opportunity to to realize their individual definition of success. So, Dave, if you wanna, play that video real quick, and then we'll throw up a QR code for anybody who wants to check out that entire post or watch the video again on Facebook. But let's let's run that video from Grand Prix. I think there are still some folks that think I was kidding. They think I'm still kidding. They think we'll change. They think we'll give up on real estate. They think we'll fall victim to the same mistakes that those that came before us made, and I can tell you we will not. And so if an agent doesn't believe in real estate first, LPT is not the brokerage for them. If an agent doesn't believe in agent choice, if they don't believe in everyone getting access to a fair comp plan, LPT Realty is not the brokerage for them. And now if they don't believe in our new connected community and putting our community fabric and ties above growth, above agent count, above everything else, LPT Realty is not the brokerage for them. But but if you believe in agent choice and you believe in real estate first and you believe in this vision, then you have found your brokerage for life. I know I found my brokerage for life. Now I'm excited to have all of you here with me. It's so good. I've even seen people hating on our mascot recently. Like, I don't know why people need to pick on a cartoon character. I don't know. It's a thing. If you wanna throw that QR code up, Dave. So, again, if if you wanna check out that video, if you wanna read the whole post on Facebook, you can scan this QR code. And, again, give it a like, give it a share. You know, again, we wanna get the message out. This is what LPT is all about. This is what we came here to build. And so if you scan that QR code or you can head over to my Facebook, and you'll find this post. Yeah. Give it a like. Give it a share. Give it a comment. Again, excited excited to be on this ride with you guys. And I just thought, you know, again, it was Grand Prix was such an amazing time. I enjoyed, you know, being there and bringing the energy from the stage. And, so we were finally getting some of that the video edited back. We've got the the closing closing song that we opened with, which I do actually believe is on Spotify. Is it? I think so. I think I heard that recently. We'll we'll check that out. Maybe we will get John, we'll get a we'll get a QR code out for you. That's funny. Yeah. You're so passionate in that video. I'm so excited to know. You're so calm here. It's like, you you gotta talk that way the rest of the the show today. Be be that excited. Yeah. It's great. Alright. Well, yeah. So I think we're we're about at time, man. But, but thanks for kinda regrounding us in that because it is important. Right? When you look back at who's made the decision to come to LPT, you look at all the big teams that are having success here and everyone who's having success here. I know that we highlighted the solo agents, a couple of weeks ago. And there's so many people who are talking about they feel the rejuvenation back in the industry. They've been in the industry for a long time and they feel excited to get back out there and tackle it again. They're excited about the new tools and the opportunities that that's bringing for them. And so you know it's hard in this business to to always kind of feel that. Right? It's a lonely business. Being an entrepreneur has a lot of up and ups and downs. If you're nine to five corporate job, usually there's a lot of people shielding you from those things but as an entrepreneur you feel it all. It all hits you and so that can be somewhat of a wild roller coaster but I appreciate you taking the time to really think about that, why we are here, why we started this company, and and who it's for, which is the agents to push the industry forward and give them a fair comp plan. So, any final words we should be thinking through this week and and, you know, as we are marching towards the ending part of this summer? Yeah, guys. Look, you know, brand new month, you know, June. We got last month in the quarter. You know, get out there and make things happen. We are in our our busy home buying season right now. Rates continue to be a headwind, but we continue to push through, embrace the tools, embrace each other. I love seeing the collaboration. You know, Connect two point o is right around the corner. We're gonna start releasing things here shortly. So, basically, I'll give you a quick update. The the the order of release is gonna be listing power tools x. Listing power tools ten. Listing power tools x is gonna get pushed up first. Okay. So that will move all of the listing power tools property and marketing into Connect Native. So that's gonna happen first, and that'll be there'll be then there'll be kind of a rolling release through, through LPT Connect where we'll bring in Listing Power Tools x. The first release will just be the properties. Then the second release, we'll be adding in the, the open house stuff we've talked about at Grand Prix, the co marketing stuff we talked about at Grand Prix. And then once that's all running well, that's probably the next, like, forty five, sixty days worth of releases. Then, somewhere around three months from now, which is right at six months from Grand Prix, we're gonna start rolling in, the Connect two point o stuff. And then, obviously, as as we get closer to the deadlines for NAR, the buyer broker stuff will get rolled out. That was a part of Listing Power Tools x. So we have to get Listing Power Tools x released inside of Connect before we can launch the buyer broker stuff. And then once that's all in place, then two point o will come out again. We're we're trying to roll here kind of with what's changing in the industry and moving things around correctly. So, again, we're committed to that release schedule. It's a lot. I mean, the our technology is going to change dramatically over the next ninety days, and I want everybody to buckle up for it. It's it's gonna be such an improvement over where we are today. And so, again, Listing Power Tools x will come out. That will then pave the way for the new open house tools. That will pave the way for the new buyer power packs. That will pave the way for the new buyer broker agreement. That will pave the way for the way for everything we need for for NAR and the changes. The nice thing is once that's in place, the next time something changes, we'll be able to get it out much faster. But because we were already midway through rewriting listing power tools, we we had to get that finished before we can officially launch the new buyer tools and everything. So all of that's coming. Connect two point o is coming. So much exciting stuff, coming down and looking. And the team is very focused on where we go from here, how do we continue to support you. I was supposed to mention a new state opening today, and I completely forgot. We opened Wyoming, today. So we we are officially in Wyoming. We don't have a slide for that, but we, we did open Wyoming today, which is exciting. Yeah. It's Wyoming. Right? It is. Yeah. It's Wyoming. Yeah. I'm getting nods. Yeah. Yeah. I was like, I'm pretty sure it's Wyoming. Yeah. We we launched Wyoming today. So that's exciting. We have a handful of Wyoming agents that are that are onboarding right now. And, look. We're about to get back on a heavy expansion, probably, you know, back half of q three. Once all the technology is out, once Connect two point o is released, we're gonna get really serious about opening states again. California's on the horizon. New York, New Jersey's on the horizon. Utah's on the horizon. So, you know, back half of this year, once the technology's in place, and the the team is in place and the staff is in place, which we're getting there each and every day, we're gonna move toward opening more states and getting going. So a lot of really cool stuff coming up. Again, big big announcements today around, leadership, big announcements today around crushing it on real trends. And, and again, guys, we're just we're here to win together. So I I appreciate all of you that believe in the vision. I appreciate all of you that commented or shared that post on Sunday, and and a lot of people left really nice comments from the heart. I rate that. I appreciate that. It's nice to know you guys are in this with me. You know, I I closed that post by saying I I believe in you all. Do you believe in me? And, you know, I I do. I believe in this LPT team so much, and I've met so many amazing people. And it's just it's really important that we are in business with people we believe in. And and I believe in each and every one of you. I see the amazing things you're doing in your community. I see the amazing way. So you're helping your clients achieve their dreams with buying and selling real estate. And and two, and your and your your teams, your your vendors, like, there are so many parts of this life that we carry as real estate agents. There are so many others that are dependent on us to go out and do what we do. Those buyers and sellers, the photographers, the appraisers, the mortgage brokers, you know, the title reps. All of these folks are are dependent on you to go out and do what you do, and that's a burden, and we recognize that. And I'm just so proud of each and every one of you and and the way you represent LPT in your communities and with your customers and with your vendors. And I believe so much in in all of you, and I'm so thankful that you all believe in me. And we are we are on this amazing path to win together. So go out there and make it a great week, and we'll see you back here next Monday.
