21. Circles Overview 12/06/2024 7PM EST

At the beginning of this week, I was, at some family property up in northwest Pennsylvania about, about thirty minutes south of Lake Erie. And, it was very cold there. Yeah. Oh, yeah. We had a lot of snow, but it was a dry cold. And I was really surprised that when I, you know, I left there, it was twenty seven degrees. And when I got here, it was forty five, but I was chillier here than It's just a time. Than I was there. Yep. Absolutely. Okay. Of course, it makes also the the heat warmer too. So Very nice weather. Yeah. Love it. Okay. So Awesome. I see that. Let's make sure. Yep. Okay. And Alright. Can everybody see that screen? Perfect. Right screen. Okay. So when you guys first get into Connect, what we're gonna do today is kinda do an overview of circles, the purpose of circles, what you can do to collaborate and see inside those circles. So that's pretty much what we're gonna touch base on tonight. So when you first get in to connect, in the mornings when you re log in, this is all your step normal thing that you would see is all your tabs. You can get to your circles in different ways. Your networking is going to be your community circles, agent circles, your water cooler, any of those. But your big one is gonna be your main stage, that first tab. And when you click on that main stage, this is everything that's happening LPT current. Right? So we can see the center circle. We can see all the people that are posting on the wall. Very excited about what's happening with two point o. If you get into that circle stream sorry. We again, you go back to that wall. You can like. You can comment. Lots of things happening there, looking for recordings, that type of thing. Your people. All your people. So if I want to search Greenville because I need an agent in Greenville, which Greenville am I talking about? So because we have several. We have South Carolina. Clearly, we have someone from Virginia. So maybe, okay, I need to be a little more specific that I need to put in South Carolina. And it's gonna pull all these wonderful people in Greenville, South Carolina that says, hey. It's either in their profile or it's their actual location. So it doesn't necessarily mean that this is going to be Greenville. It could be that it is it is verbiage that is like, hey. I also cover Greenville, South Carolina in their profile. So trying to find agents, trying to find those referral partners is gonna be simple in that main stage company wide. That's where you're gonna find those. You can search keywords if you're looking for specific things. Not even sure. There you go. Training. They that those are our most recent, posts on training. So or comments from training because you're looking for something specific, whatever it is you guys are looking for. Your articles, of course, we have our newsletters in here, LPT explained. These are gonna be, put in here as we move along. So you can always say, okay. Well, I know I saw it somewhere in that newsletter. Let me come back and find it. Every circle is also going to have their own calendar. So you can come in here and see those classes. Tonight, we are at the seven o'clock. So when you pull that up let me see if I can pull that up a little bit further up on my screen. You can see what time it is. You can see the click to register. And then at the bottom, I think it's because of the way my screen is set up, there is a place for it to be, yes or no. So they all right now are preset to no. I do know that they are considering changing that. But if I wanted to say, hey. No. I want that. You can click on the going, and then when I go to my own calendar, which is this little button up here, it will show up on my calendar. And then it's like, oh, nope. I'm not gonna be able to go to that one. Let me go back out, and I'm gonna be able to hit no. It's gonna update, and it's gonna disappear. Woah. Sorry about that. You can go into discussions. This is you guys can start a discussion. You can our categories are general. So you can click here to start a discussion, whatever it is that you wanna talk about, kinda like Facebook. Like, what what do you wanna talk about? I don't know. It can be, you know, some something very specific or it can be, pretty general in this main stage. You can definitely just say, hey. I wanna talk about this. I wanna talk about investments. I wanna talk about REO. I wanna talk about whatever it is. This next one is videos, but it's taking a minute to load. So and I can only assume because there's probably a few in there. Yes. So you missed money motivational. I need to go back and watch it from this date. There you go. Your videos are in there. They are loading them. They're clearly going back in time getting those loaded, so that's gonna be awesome. Your real estate first Friday videos are in there. So lots of good information happening in those. Yeah. I love that they're doing that. So wikis, well, we're gonna hit that on another circle. And then that is so that's your main stage circle. Like, that's where you're gonna find all the people, and then we are going to get into I want you I want really want you guys to see the training circles. So training. Again, it's the same options on the left hand side. So, again, the people tab, which right now, it doesn't look like there's anyone in there, but that's gonna be your people doing the trainings, putting those things together. Right now, these are the articles. So new agent LPT agent support explained. What do you need to know? A new agent orientation was scheduled. So you could click on that and get to that link to get that, information. LPT startup for agents. Boot camp, if you guys haven't done that, it's pretty cool for new agents. Hundred and seventy nine ways you're worth your your commission. So all these things for new agents, under LPT that they can come in. Some are videos. Some have videos attached to them. So it really just open it up, and this is the memo. All the links. Monday motivational, Tuesday and Thursday orientation recruits. All the things. So it's pretty cool. I like it. How to sign up for the newsletters. So and then it just goes on from there. So getting into articles and seeing what you can find in each circle about that specific circle and topic is pretty cool. Calendar, trainings, I believe. I don't know if this will be in this one or if it'll be in under education, but you're gonna start seeing classes popping up in here, for new agent trainings. Again, those discussions and the videos, CMAs, like, what do you need to know as a new agent? I think it's pretty cool. Lots of stuff in there, especially when you get into listing power packs and how to explain them. You talk about getting leads and finding leads. For new agents, heck, even for experienced agents that have been in the business for a while, things change. Like, okay. Maybe I need to update this technology and go in there and see what they're doing. Because what we were doing ten years ago is different than what we're doing now. So, you know, depending on how long you've been in the business, some of this might be appropriate to come back and catch up on. I can say that. I'm a Gen Xer. I learned how to use Apple Pay, Tap to Pay on my phone today for the first time. Right. I was Yeah. I was so random, but I was so excited. So old dogs can learn new tricks. So, again, maybe not just for new agents, but, you know, it's it's there's tons of information in here for trainings for new agents as well. And then, of course, if you get into that luxury collection, you guys will be able to open those circles. Dot looping contracts training. I think this is great. What's the top one? JPMorgan mobile deposit and how to get paid faster. Yes. It's a step by step on how to make sure, hey. My money's gonna hit the bank, and I'm gonna get paid. So, yeah, tons of things in these circles for you guys. This one specifically with dot loop, you can go through, watch the videos, read the articles. You can change your account settings, how to create your first loop. Again, that goes into not just new agents, new to LPT agents. I know lots of people that have been doing business for years, different platforms, different whatever, but they've never used that loop. There you go. How to create your first loop. If you wanna do task templates, those are pretty cool if you've never used those. Especially if you're a checklist person, create your own task templates, and you go through and mark it off as you go through the transaction to make sure you don't miss things. How to create document templates, interactive docs, how to add your association so you can get those docs, if you're that association participates. So, yeah, tons of stuff. How to submit your docs for review to compliance. We need to know how to do that. We wanna be able to get paid. Yeah. Again, there will be trainings coming for this. So, those will be here on that dot loop, calendar. And then you have again, this is all new training. Contract to close, all kinds of fun stuff. And then if you guys need it, if you're like, hey. I saw that somewhere, and I don't see it here yet, you can go back to the original knowledge base. I'm gonna move your faces. Because you can do it here, or you can do it over here under the support button. You have this new ticket, call support, the old news, the knowledge base, the and the community forums. So if for some reason you ever needed to go back and find something in there because you're like, hey. Maybe it just hasn't transferred yet. You can do that. You still have your state tabs at the top for the states that you're licensed in, and you for your state specific stuff, and then you still have all the regular LPT stuff. And I think they said this was gonna be thirty to sixty days that this was still gonna live for a while because they are working on transitioning everything over to two point o. So just kinda saw that in there. I was like, let me go ahead and touch base on that. So then we get into the fun stuff. We get into the social. Right? Where where do you guys wanna meet people? Are they do they have the same interests? What are you looking for? So we have our community circles. I'm gonna be honest. Some of these may not be live yet, so you may see some circles that are not live. We're getting there, but I know that we're releasing them a little bit at a time, not all at once. So you're gonna have your AAC and your agent advisory council, your regular circle for agents, community, knowledge base, digital marketing, Dotloop, innovation gallery. So you guys can come in here and do your own following. Which ones do you wanna be a part of? Okay. Maybe I don't wanna be a part of that one anymore. You guys are more than you can see my circles. We got some state ones coming up. There will be LPT plus. There will be lofty. There will be kvCORE. So we are slowly, releasing these because we don't wanna overwhelm you, and we don't wanna overwhelm the systems. So we definitely need to, but, yeah, you're gonna have plenty of community circles. Let's see. Yeah. I don't know that any of these are quite live yet. I was gonna look and see. We know dot loop is main stage, of course, new agent training. I think the water cooler is gonna be fun. There you go. So, Patty Go for it. We've got a request, to be shown how to update the bio. Oh, I can do that. Okay. So you have your base and name up here in the right hand side corner. You're gonna click on that. You're gonna view your profile. So when you view your profile, even though there are two different edit pages. So if you go to edit on that where your picture is on the upper right hand side, it's gonna bring you to your, Desi Designer and your marketing stuff. So I don't know how to do it from here. What I do know is that if you go to view your profile and use this edit profile button, it will bring you up the screen right here to edit your bio. So you can add your address. This looks like there might be a bug. I have to put a ticket in, but this should be over here. And then there's a place here, about me, to put your bio in. So you can your contact information, work info, location, about me, that's where that bio is, and then you can save it. So for sure. We've we've also got a question about, is there a place in there to change the sponsor name? Cannot change your sponsor at LPT Realty. Once the ICA is signed, that's not a that can't be that's not a thing. Just it that's company policy. So look. I have a connection on my profile. So somebody wants to connect. So you'll get your notifications in those circles. You can get them up here, and you can get them here. I have a connection request from Matt Hodge. Yay. Of course, I'm gonna accept. For sure. I love that. You can also from your own circle so this is your people. Right? So when you're in your people I'm glad he did that so I can show you this. This is what's going on in your circles that you are a part of. So this is all the activity stream from the circles you this is your community, so to speak, that you have chosen to be a part of. Your notifications. Come on. This is all the things that have happened within my circle. So, of people that have again, I signed up for these events, so I get to see the changes. If I had not signed up for that, that would not show up here. I had made a comment on Robert's post where he was saying hi the other day. So now I get the notifications when somebody else says hi, on that any changes on that post. So, yeah, lots going on in there. You can see all the different things that have happened in my own space. So my at mentions, I have not had any at mentions yet, and that's cool too. Any required reading that was sent to me, my own calendar. So my own calendar, you can see I have already signed up and done different things. This is, state specific. I haven't quite released those yet, but we're getting there. And then, hey. I saw that article, and I wanna go back to it. So you can bookmark those and have that saved in your stuff and be like, okay. I'm gonna go back and read that later. So that's pretty cool. That's a great feature. Yes. So connections requests, out of Irving, Texas. I don't know Carla. So I think Carla and I are gonna have to talk before I accept her connection. It doesn't cost me any tokens to accept, but to be able to send those connections, it's one of those, like, hey. Am I gonna use my tokens, so to speak? So there's gonna be a specific number of tokens that he's Robert's gonna give out per week. He hasn't been given us a quite number yet. So, yeah, I'll reach out to Carla and say, hey. Like, how why would you like to connect? I can I don't wanna ignore her? That's rude. But I may want to send her a message and just be like, what's going on? Is she in the class tonight? Maybe. I haven't seen the chat yet. So if if she's in the class, if you will chat and let me know that. Okay. Perfect. Realtor, Carla. Yeah. So there you go. Perfect. So, yes, of course, I'll accept. And then we have that connection to be able to go back and say, hey, you know, I have questions. Now she knows I'm a resource for her. I can help her with circles. I can help her with two point o. You're more than welcome. You can message me. You can do all the things. So now that Carla and I are attached wait. I'm gonna go to the next one. If we go to recognition, these are, these two were sent to me. Hey. You did great at this event. Or, hey. You know, whatever it was. You did a great there we go. Great job. And then event planner was sent to me. So I've gotten two kudos, and I gave one kudo away. So and these are points. I'm really competitive. This is making me super nervous that I still only have one star, but I'm getting there. So it's just one of those, like, that's a personality so, yeah, that's what mine looks. So I'm still at a rookie. Again, I can view my profile. This is what other people will see. Let me move you guys. And it does look like they are giving out tokens. So I because I have tokens that I did not have last night. So these are posts that I have put on, because I've been working on my state pages. You're gonna see all the things that I've been working on there. So this is what other people can see if they come to my profile. Now if And this is all under the networking tab? Is all under your own profile. Your own profile. Your own profile. So this is where all of your stuff lives. Your own circle, so to speak. Great. Now since we're creating those connections and creating those circles, Shay comes to my profile, but we haven't connected. And he's like, hey. I I wanna talk to her. So he can come in here and he can type on my wall and say, hey, how you doing and post it. No big deal. However, if he wants to send me something private because we're not connected, we can't. So if I go up here to try and send a message from my circle, I did this with Candice last night, I can only choose from the people that I've connected with. So I have not connected with Robert Palmer. Guess who I cannot send a message to directly? I have not connected with Shay. I cannot send a message. So I would have to go to their wall, which you can do. Let's see if we can find well, Carla's on my list. So but if we go to Shay I just sent you a connection request. Perfect. Okay. So but before I accept it, let's so now I can see Shay's. So this is his circle. And if I did not receive that connection, I would not be able to send him a message. I would just be able to come in and, say hello on his wall. If you want to send recognition, you can find them this way, or you can go back to your profile. Maybe. Maybe you do have to find them specifically. I thought you could do it from yours, but I guess not. I have a drone. So you would be able to do it from Shay's. But he says, hey. I just sent you a connection request. So let's see. I thought I saw it come across too and then it disappeared. Interesting. Let's go find it. Let's go find it. There it is. Hey. So, of course, of course, I will accept. So we are great together. So and he's in a completely different state that I always will need help in. So if you ever need to go back to the home page, you're just gonna click that LPT connect and, like, start from the beginning. Great. All done. But you get into these water cooler chats and these different innovation alley. That's a new one for me. I haven't seen that yet. So listing power tools, LPT pros and pros and tips, empty the box. So it looks like, and, again, I don't know if this is open for y'all, but it looks like it's coming. And all the things, door hangers, what are you gonna do with them? Where you can take them? Robert and then, of course, you have video Robert's video, for the presentation, which is always cool. I can watch those over and over and over again. So, yeah, there's gonna be circles of different kinds for different things. There will be state circles coming, which I think will be amazing. So it will have your state specific stuff in it. There was one. Let's see if I can maybe it was new agent training. I was like, I wanted to look at that. Let's see. One of them There really is so much in here. There is. So in the new agent training check this out. Let me go back because I clicked really quick. In the new agent training circle, if you go to Wiki, and your state pages are gonna have these two, which is pretty cool. These are more this is more static information. So it's gonna have, like, your brokerage, brokers, company docs, license info just like knowledge base did. Right? So this is stuff that isn't gonna change very often. It does have the corporate phone numb or corporate address and phone number, all of your states and their state brokers and their emails, and then all of their information. So that's pretty cool. Who their, broke who the broker is and, if there's a secondary, in the state, that type of thing. So it's pretty cool. And then it has all of that information in there. And if you scroll to the right, you can pull more information as far as NAID, if there's a referral network in that office or sorry, in that state. Important information that you guys have to have for license transfers and specific documents all housed in that one place. So, LPT Realty policies and procedures, like, woo hoo, all good to go. Again, all in one place. So I think that's pretty cool. Yeah. So, but that's yeah. I've been working on that in the background for my states. It's setting up that same static policies and procedures and my information and what boards and MLSs and where to find the forms and that type of thing. So, I think the state circles are gonna be pretty cool too. Absolutely. But, yeah, I mean, you can go to these go to agent circles, and this is everybody. So who am I trying to find? Let's do Nevada. Okay. Very cool. Lots of people in Nevada. If you have not set up your profile and added a picture, I'm gonna highly suggest you do that. Try and keep it professional. That's just my opinion.
