09. Training Circles with Connect 2.0 12/11/24 11AM EST

You know, I I watched come on in, everybody. Yeah. I watched years ago, you know, when Katrina hit New Orleans, and then that road to recovery was so long for them. And I remember visiting, and people for for two or three years were living in, like, Baton Rouge and Los Angeles and still driving back, you know, in the city to to do the recovery efforts for for a long time. That stuff takes so long. It really does. Exactly. Hey, everybody. We're talking I live in the mountains of North Carolina, and, I live in one of the hardest hit areas from the flooding up here. So we were chatting about that before we got started. Right. Good morning. Good morning, folks. Come on in. It is, I was gonna say it's ten o'clock, but that's eastern time. It's eleven o'clock on the the eastern time. Ten o'clock, central. But come on in. We're gonna get started here talking through training circles. And, you know, I'm just so glad everybody's here. This particular section, much much like you have seen, with some of these other sections, we're gonna just go through piece by piece and just walk you through everything. If you've got questions, feel free to throw questions in the chat, and, we'll just try to go through all this. And and, hopefully, everybody is just gonna keep up, and let me see. Good morning. I am gonna go ahead and share my screen, and we'll get into this so that we can get you back in your day as quickly as possible. And, let me go ahead and share my screen real fast. Everybody loves your guitar, Shay. It's always the topic of conversation. Right? My well and so I I think right after the New Year, Miles is gonna go through a little remodeling. So the guitars may not be there afterwards. I mean, they'll be here, but they may be off screen. We'll see. There's a negotiation on that right now. So, okay. You can hopefully can everybody see my screen? Great. So this is the dashboard when you first get into Connect two point o. Obviously, everything works off the main stage. Right? The main stage is kind of the the the beginning of everything. But where we're going to start today is under the trainings tab at the top. You can see here you've got new agent training, operational training, luxury training, dot loop and contracts training, and then the old Connect one point o knowledge base. I'm just gonna kinda take a minute and walk through all of these and orient you to where you can find all this stuff and, then let you guys run and have fun with it and dig in and explore. There's so much in here. But the good news is there's so much more coming in here. We're still in the process of making sure all the trainings are loaded up. So you'll you'll see when we get to some of these calendars. They may look a little blank now, but but keep an eye on them. And they're really genuinely being populated more and more every single day, kinda like with everything else in Connect two point o. So let's go ahead and start with the new agent training. One thing I want to draw your attention to is with every single one of these different tabs here, it's changing the options right here. And everywhere we dig in here, it it has a direct correlation to the options up here. I'll kinda walk through that. But you'll notice this is new agent training. When I just scroll down through here, you you see this sort of splash page with all these different things going on. You know, just to give you an example, if I click on this new agent boot camp Might take a minute. Here is all the information about the new agent boot camp of where it is and when. If I go back, I can cycle through each of these and each of these, like, a new agent orientation. If you wanna click on that, it takes you to the sign up page for that. LPT startup for agents. And every single thing on this page, you can just scroll through and find what you're looking for, or, obviously, you could always use the search. And, let's see if I'm gonna do training on let's see. What do we have here? Anytime you do a search, you're gonna have all sorts of things show up. Going back to the new agent training beginning, this is the main center stage for all the training. Now you'll notice if you look down through here, this is gonna be the perp the the the public circle for the new agent training. So anytime somebody posts another training, it's gonna kind of populate this page. You can come here. You can scroll down if you don't wanna dig through. My suggestion, though, if you come in here and you look at the training calendar under the new agent training, you'll see everything you'll see right here. You know, there's a a an accredited buyers represent representation class. There is a new agent boot camp. If you need to RSVP, it's all right here. And every single time we get more trainings, we're going to be populating everything in here. I had a conversation with Amanda Hannon the other day. Amanda Driscoll, her new married name. Congratulations, by the way. And there's so much that's that's being imported into this calendar right now. Just keep an eye out for all of that. But just spend some time digging through this the training forums and and, especially, you'll notice if I click on the discussion, there's nothing in here yet. But, again, all this is gonna be populated. One of the things you're gonna wanna pay attention to are as you're doing and going through these classes, more and more, they're gonna be components to to kinda tie in to some of these conversations so that there's more, you know, what's the word I'm looking for? We're we're continuing to reinforce, all of that information through different methods. Right? We sit in a class. That's one method of getting that information. You come in here. You you discuss what was in the class. You start to kinda get it on a much deeper level. The sort of metacognition. I think I'm using that word right. If not, who knows? I'll pretend like I'm using it right. But the idea is to be able to come in here, discuss, ask questions after the class, and and really further that sort of synthesizing of the information into really our DNA and getting it in there. Now what I also wanna show you is this is the same thing with not just new agent orientation, but operational training with everything we've got in here. You know, how do we conduct ourselves? Things like the TCPA, the Telephone Consumer Protection Act, any sort of FCC third party lead generation, anything that's a best practice. Here we go. Telemarketing sales rules, safe harbor guidelines. This is stuff we absolutely need to know. And just as an aside, E and O does not cover illegal activity. Let me kind of preface that with a little more language. E and O, if you're engaged in violating the TCPA, the Telephone Consumer Protection Act, in other words, if you're calling people who are on the do not call list that you shouldn't be calling, that is an illegal activity. E and O will not cover that. Let me let that hang in the air for a minute. E and O doesn't cover activities we're not supposed to be engaging in. E and O is there for things where we kind of slip up, errors and omissions. Calling somebody on the do not call list is not an error. It's just a a a wrong act, and E and O doesn't cover it. That's the kind of stuff that you'll learn if you dig into some of this operational training. We're gonna teach you all the restrictions. We're gonna teach you all the systems. We're gonna teach you how to do all these things separately, and all this is here anytime you need it. Again, you the power of this is in this search. If I just search for TCPA, I get TCPA guidelines, I get many TCPA regulations, I get interest information on restricted calling dates, anything you wanna know. Just dig in here. Again, that's under operational training, which is different than the new agent training. The new agent training is is there to help you understand, you know, how do you get up to speed? You've gotten your license. What do you need to know now? Operational training is how do you stay safe? What are we doing here at LPT, and how do we do it at LPT? This is all you need to know there. This the third kind of training option that you've got right here in Connect is luxury collection training. I had an agent reach out to me the other day saying, hey. You know, when can I get into some luxury training? Like, you can get into Connect two point o right now and start digging in. There's all sorts of information in here about the training opportunities for luxury. And, again, it's not gonna be all populated in the calendar yet, but it is coming. And you go in here. You check the calendar. We've got articles. You know, if you need to reach out to somebody that is a luxury trainer or somebody that's really got some great, history and luxury and you come in here, this is a place to get connected. Again, if it's under trainings, new agent, operational luxury, just keep digging in. Dial in further. Look through these, these menus on the left. Your every single one of these options is gonna dial you down further into the new agent training, the operational training, the luxury training. Let me show you the dot loop and compliance stuff. In here, again, all of this is how to get paid faster. All of this is information on how to set up things in the account, creating your first dot loop. Again, all this is here twenty four seven. Dig in. One of the questions in the chat is, can you help define the difference between luxury collection and luxury network? So the luxury collection and, Gary, you might you might correct me if I'm wrong here. It's my understanding that the luxury collection is our marketing piece and everything having to do with that luxury box. The luxury network is the the folks and the training and the things you wanna get plugged into to really collaborate with people on the luxury process, on building your luxury, sphere of influence, on all of those things. Does that help? Yeah. That that's correct. And then and, yeah, and, the next, comment that was put in, network is a membership collection, is any listing over, seven fifty. But yeah. So luxury marketing, luxury collection marketing is available to everyone. The luxury luxury network is something you wouldn't wanna opt into. Thanks for that insight. Absolutely. And then, ultimately, you know, if you need to get into the knowledge base, it's here. Also, keep in mind, we are putting so much more content in the knowledge base, and it's just growing every single day. So these are all of the different training circles and how to connect to them, the kind of information that's in there. Are there any other questions that, we haven't quite addressed yet? Every single one of these, we're continuing to populate and, just hang tight. So Great. Yeah. The least specifics Yeah. The the, all the marathon classes are being recorded, and, I don't know if they've all been added, to the training yet, but, they should be on the way soon if not. Yeah. Yeah. So your to get the list from the DNC, you'd have to get it from the the DNC website. You've got a there's a registration process and you just register, you download that. One other thing I would say about that, if you're using services like maybe Espresso Agent or some of those other services out there that give you lists of expireds and, that kind of thing. You can't assume those have been scrubbed with that DNC contact information. Even if they say they are scrubbed to that information, you just can't trust it. You're gonna have to do that due diligence on your own. So sorry, Mae, but how do you join them? So, Craig, I don't know that we can create our own circles. I don't know that it works that way. I haven't get gotten any insight on that. But these circles are just here to dig into. I don't know if if you actually join them as much as you just navigate to them through, that bar up at the top, but you can connect with staff. You can connect with me. You can connect with Jerry. You can connect with other agents. You send those connection requests, and and you kinda build a social network that way. But I don't think there's a there's a way to join these circles in as much as just navigate to them. Jerry, have have I missed something? Yeah. I I haven't seen a way to do that yet. And then as far as creating your own circle, that might be something down the road. We're still in beta testing, with all this, but that might be something down the road to, create your own circle with a specific topic and have, agents join to dis have discussions, that might be down the road, after we get through the beta phase. Yeah. Yeah. There's been a lot go into this and a lot still left to develop, just because there's so much that there's so much potential with this. Right? So this is gonna be a growing a growing thing for some time now. Let's see. Alright. The tokens are for connecting with other people. For instance, if Jerry sends me a connection request, that takes a token from him to send that request, but it does not take a token from me to accept that request. So those tokens are used up when you send out requests, but not when you just respond to them. You can respond to as many, as you need to and, you know, just be mindful of using those right now, you know, efficiently. And, they'll be replenished. I'm not sure when or how, but there will there will be more tokens. You're not just gonna use them up and then not gonna have anymore. So yep. Yep. Yep. Thank you so much, folks.
